    Fiscal Issue 1877: De La Rue Archive Proofs for the Fiscal issue. Imperforate Colour Trials on page from the De La Rue Day Book (19) with fourteen without values inserted, but with, in manuscript above, denominations to be used in Afrikaans as issued. First page dated at top "28 MAR 77" in red, with 6 d.in pearl-grey and in purple-brown as issued, 'Shillings Series' with 1 s. in the same two colours, 1/6 d. value to 10 s. also in issued colours as are the £ values. Illustrated in "The De La Rue Collection" edited by Frank Walton RDP on page 5228, the Pound section now separated for display.
