"G" in red, Type 15, used on 1878 cover, with complete contents dated June 3 at Du Toit's Pan, to Emil Burmester in Cape Town tied by circular barred handstamp in black with oval framed DU TOIT'S PAN datestamp alongside (June 3). 'Cape Town / Cape Colony' arrival cds (June 14) at right. Some minor aging on perforations but a rare cover - the earliest recorded usage of this issue on letter.
