Griqualand West 1864/77: 6 d. deep lilac, two horizontal pairs, one with faults, used on 1874 cover (Birdseye correspondence) from De Beers to London tied by 'leaf' obliterators in black with DE BEERS N.R. circular datestamp alongside (Nov 7) in black. 'Cape Town / Cape Colony' transit cds (Nov 13) in black and 'London / Paid' arrival datestamp (Dec 15) in red all on obverse.
