    Dutch East India Company 1792/95c.: Cover at double rate addressed to 'Herren Weesmeesteren, Cabo de Goede Hoop', struck with two fine strikes of the circular "VOC / 6 St." (Dutch East India Company / 6 Stuyvers) handstamps in black (Type VOC 2). The cover opens well for display and the reverse with two intact red wax seals showing a Crown above a double-headed Eagle. Fresh and extremely fine, the strikes applied on despatch in the Netherlands, double rate covers are of great scarcity. Cert. PFSA (1989).
