    1930 (sept 15): Airmail 1 s. sepia & olive from the early printing with opt. in carmine-lake, used with 6 d. dull & pale purple and Ash printing 3 d. black & blue-green on registered philatelic cover to UK tied by bold SAMARAI / PAPUA datestamps (Nov 17) in black. Reverse with Samarai, Cairns (Dec 11), Brisbane and Adelaide transits. File fold away from adhesives but very scarce - only the early part of the printing received overprints in the carmine-lake shade. Cert. Ceremuga (2012).
