    1884/90: 4 d. blue, single example used on 1890 cover (Puzey correspondence) endorsed 'Per Clan Line Steamer "Clan Cameron" via Mauritius', tied by East London hooded datestamp in black. Addressed to Edmund Puzey employed as the Nizam of Hydereabad's Agent for the State Railway, the cover was landed at Galle and struck there with rare circular GALLE / SHIP LETTER in black. Reverse with 'Galle / Paid' cds (Jan 16, 1891), 'Colombo / Paid' cds (Jan 17), Tuticorin and Secunderabad cds of arrival (Jan 22). Minor opening tear at top but very scarce.
