    1885/1895: Error of Colour, 4 d. lilac instead of magenta, a fine used example of this rare stamp, neatly cancelled by part 'Melbourne' duplex, clearly dated 'DE 30 / 1886' in black (the earliest recorded use is December 21, 1886, this stamp thus falling very much 'in period').
