    Stamp Duty 1879: Die Proof for 6 s. value in black & grey on cream wove paper, 30 x 35 mm., engraved by Arthur Williams of Sands & MacDougall, typographed at the Victorian Stamp Printer's. Unfinished State of the Die with letters 'J' and 'L' missing from above the figures '6' on each side, these letters standing for Charles Jackson and Ludwig Lang who designed much of the 1879 Stamp Duty series.
