    Chalon Head Issues, locally printed 1863/71: 4 d. blue and 6 d. grey-violet / cobalt, perforated 10 by J. Walch & Sons of Hobart, used on 1865 cover to London endorsed 'via Marseilles', each tied by mute obliterator handstamps in black. Circular 'General Post Office / Hobart Town / Crown' datestamp in red below (Nov 23) with London arrival cds at left (Jan 12, 1866). Small part of flap missing but a very fine and rare cover.
