    Austrian Post Offices / Crimean War 1856: Incoming cover from Treviso to Jassy with Lombardo-Veneto 1850/57 45 c. blue, fresh colour and good to large margins all round, tied by two line "TREVISO 26 MAR." datestamp, written on March 25, 1856 and sent to the "Oberlieutnant Adriano Fabris at the Sanitäts-Bataillon No. 2, 4te Compagnie zu Jassy Moldau" with "per Wien" endorsement alongside. Reverse with Krakau (30/3) and Czernowitz (April 3) transit datestamps and neat Fieldpost "FELDPOST No. 2 5/4" arrival cds in black (Tchilinghirian fig. 756). An appealing incoming cover that opens well for Exhibit display.
