    Lithographed by J. S. Campbell & Co., Melbourne 1854 (Feb-June): Half-Length 1 d. rose-red on wove paper, positions 17-18, a fine partially separated horizontal pair, used with 1854 Woodblock 6 d. orange-yellow on cover from Portland to Hamilton tied by circular barred "8" numeral obliterator of Portland in black. Reverse with 'Portland / Crown / Victoria' despatch datestamp (July 23) and Hamilton arrival (July 24) in black. Tiny cover tear at top otherwise a fine and scarce franking - the 1 d. rose-red in the true shade is very rare on letter.
