Lithographed by Thomas Ham 1850 (Jan 5): Half-Length 2 d. lilac-mauve, Stone A, Pack / Purves position 1, a wonderful used example, marginal from top of sheet, of excellent rich colour, margins close but clear at left and huge margins on three sides, neatly cancelled by scarce "21" Butterfly handstamp of Ballan in deep blue. A delightful and rare stamp in exceptional quality: in all probablility the finest known used example. Cert.
