    1850 (July): 3 d. yellow green, on greyish wove paper, a four margined used example tied to 1851 cover from Sydney to Stokesley, Yorkshire endorsed per 'Strathedine' at lower left, tied by mute obliterator in black. Manuscript '8' (pence) ship fee on front and circular 'Paid Ship Letter / Crown / Sydney' datestamp in red (Dec 16). Reverse with London cds in red (June 1) Northallerton and Stokesley cds's (June 2) in blue. Minor aging to envelope but an attractive cover.
