    Ballon Monté No. 3 1870 (Sept 26): Entire letter to Hvetlanda, Sweden sent unpaid (the writer apologises for the lack of a 'Napoleon head'), with 'Paris / Pl. de la Bourse' cds (Sept 26, 4th levée) in black. Carried from beseged Paris on Ballon "Les Etats-Unis" piloted by Louis Godard. The Ballon landed at a Château near Mantes. Reverse with 'PKXP Nr. 2' Swedish TPO datestamp (Oct 5) and charged with "56" (öre) due marking in black. The entire written from 'Alfred' to his sister mentioning the Ballon. A wonderful and extremely rare entire. Unique. Signed Calves, Goebel, Roumet Maury = € 15'000.
