    "Halifax Airmail" 1921 (Nov 17): 35 c. red, wide spacing, with stop after 1921, used on First Flight cover addressed to Newark tied by 'St. John's Nfld.' machine cancellation (Nov 23). The attempted Flight was delayed and then abandoned on January 28, 1922 and the mail was sent on to Halifax by rail - arriving on February 4, reverse with Halifax return datestamp.. Slightly aged but fine cover. Scott C3b = $ 225 on cover/ Gi = £ 100 off cover.
