Apart 1914 (Oct 17): 2 s. on 2 m. blue, Setting 1, position type 4, a fine used example from lower right corner of the sheet of 20 subjects, showing the variety "Large "S" from different font in 2s.", the paper slightly aged, cancelled by RABAUL two line datestamp in violet. Gibbs records just 2 unused and one used example (page 69), this being the example illustrated in Gibbs on page 71. Just 113 of the 2 mark values were overprinted. A famous and very rare stamp.
