    1854 (Aug 1): Proof for the 1 s. value in black on cream wove paper, margins fine on three sides and just missing the design at left, with reverse showing complete shifted offset of the Swan 4 d. value (which is from position 37 of the intermediate Stone of 60 and thus the position of the Inverted Frame variety - note WESTERN and WESTERN side by side). Despite the imperfection, a very rare Proof of great historical interest - this was the decisive Proof that ascertained the "Centre Inverted" was, in actuality an "Inverted Frame" variety.
