    Beaded Oval Issue 1860/66: Proof in black for the 4 d. value, imperforate on wove surfaced paper. See first Purves sale (lot 2116) for a similar Proof, which is thought to have been struck on the occasion of the visit of the Duke of Cornwall & York (later King George V) in 1901. Fine, attractive and very rare with just two, perhaps three, Proofs taken.
