    Lithographed by Thomas Ham 1850 (Jan 5): Half-Length 1 d. orange-brown, Original State, the famous used block of six (3 x 2), with enormous margins for this issue, of outstanding fresh colour and each stamp neatly cancelled by "15" Butterfly handstamp of Geelong in blue. Imperceptible thin spot, the vertical crease described by Harmers in the Boker sale and Siegel in the 'KL' sale being the impressions of the Butterrfly handstamp showing through the soft paper to the reverse. Discussed in Kellow on page 32 "the greatest Victorian piece extant" and illustrated on Colour Plate 1. A beautiful, immaculate and extremely rare multiple of great importance to the connoisseur of classic philately. Signed A.
