    High Values 1882/86: Bradbury Wilkinson / Queensland Govt. Printer's Trials, for the 2 s., 5 s. and 10 s. values in issued colours, all on Crown on Q watermarked paper, the 2 s. bright blue in an Imperforate pair (positions 21-22) with close or huge margins; the 5 s. rose in a perforated pair (positions 27-28), marginal from base of sheet with 'Bradbury Wilkinson' imprint at base on gummed paper; the 10 s. brown in an Imperforate pair (positions 27-28), marginal from base of sheet with 'Bradbury Wilkinson' imprint at base on gummed paper; all are overprinted SPECIMEN horizontally in orange-red ink. Faults but a splendid and rare group: the engraver's imprint was removed from the Plates prior to issue.rnrnProvenance: The 5 s. and 10 s. pairs are those illustrated on Plate XXVIII in Basset Hull.
