    1851 (Jan): 3 d. emerald-green on greyish laid paper, clear impression, a fine large margined used example on second sheet of 1851 cover to Sydney tied by bold strike of "55" numeral obliterator of Newcastle with extremely rare usage of 'NEWCASTLE / N.S.W. / P.OFFICE' circular negative intaglio seal handstamp at left. Reverse with 'Sydney / Crown / New South Wales' arrival cds (Jan 3, 1852) in black. Flap with opening tear but a delightfuil and extremely scarce cover. Cert. BPA (2001).
