    1833 (June 5): Entire letter from Constantinople to Vienna, disinfected at Semlin in transit (and presumably held) and struck on reverse with italic two line "Geräuchert vom Contumaz-Amte / zu SEMLIN am 17 July 1833" in black (Fumigated by the Quarantine Office) with part red wax reseal below. Vienna arrival (July 12) alongside. Superb and very scarce.
