    1961: Special First Day Cover, sent registered to Lima with marginal Gronchi rosa, 205 l. with wrong map of Peru, additional 205 l. grey violett and 90 l. Michelangelo definitive applied on top of this withdrawn stamp (detached for inspection and hinged back), all cancelled by special machine cancellation of Rome for the visit of President Gronchi in South America, reverse with Venezia transit and Lima Aereo arrival cds's (ABR 7 1961). A rare and interesting combination, cert. Caffaz (1993) Sassone = € 32'000.
