    Italo-Platense Line 1879: 10 c. blue stationery envelope endorsed 'par "Italie" voie de Marseille' used from Montevideo to Bordeaux cancelled by oval 'Montevideo' despatch (Aug 23) with circular PLATA / MARSEILLE entry cds in red (Sept 24). Charged '12' décimes handstruck on arrival. Small internal cut in envelope but extremely scarce - only a handful of covers are recorded from the 'Italo-Platense Line'.
