    Mail from the Levant to Greece via French Paquebot 1863: Cover from the French P. O. in Sulina sent unpaid to Syros, Greece with dotted despatch datestamp of SULINA / TURQ. D'EUROPE in black (Oct 25), thence by French Danube Line steamer to French P.O. in Constantinople with cds on reverse (Oct 28) alongside Piraeus (Oct 19, julian) cds and Syros cds of the following day. Manuscript '50' (lepta) in red crayon (30 lepta ship rate plus 20 lepta internal charge) and franked with 1862/67 10 l. orange and 40 l. mauve on blued tied by 'Syros' cds. Minor imperfections but an extremely rare entire - the sole recorded example of a cover from this rare Office taxed in Greece.
