    Mail carried on French Paquebots 1873: Cover mailed from Naphlion to Marseille carried on Paquebot 'Tanais', franked at 1866 Convention rate of 70 lepta (for up to 10 grams) by 1871/72 5 l. green on pale greenish in a vertical sheet marginal pair, together with three overlapped 20 l. blue, all tied by 'Naphlion / 15' datestamps (May 15) in black. Framed red PD and and circular 'Grece / Marseille / 1' entry marking (June 3, gregorian) in red. File hole on front panel running trough 5 l. pair but a scarce cover.
