    Mail from Austrian Offices in the Levant 1867: Entire letter from Metelino (Mytilene, Lesbos) to Syros, Greece franked on despatch with Austrian Italy 1864 10 s. deep blue, 15 soldi brown (2), all perf. 9½ tied by METELINE datestamps (May 7) in black (Tchilinghirian fig. 566), manuscript '40' charge in blue crayon and fine 1862/67 40 l. rosy mauve on blued tied by 'Syros' cds (April 28, julian), paying double the internal rate (for under 30 grams). Reverse with 'Lloyd Agenzie / Smirne' transit cds and Syros cds. Trivial aging around perforations and light vertical file fold through one 15 soldi but a delightful and very rare entire.
