    1863: Arms 2 soldi yellow, perf. 14, four examples, one is defective at base, and a horizontal strip of four 1864 2 soldi yellow, perf. 9½, used on 1866 cover from Jerusalem to Jaffa, a double weight letter, thus 2 x 8 soldi, all stamps tied by seven strikes of GERUSALEMME datestamps (13/9) in black (Tchilinghirian, Stephen & Tranmer fig. D). The first stamp in the strip has a closed tear and the cover has been refolded for protection of the adhesives and for Exhibit display, nevertheless despite the faults a truly extraordinary franking with no other such cover from any Levant Office being recorded.
