    'Affranchisements Composés' entire letter from Oran, Algeria to Mulhouse, Alsace at double weight, franked by 1867/70 1 c. bronze on green pair, Siège 20 c. blue pair and Bordeaux 4 c. grey (two superb large margined examples) from Report 2, all tied by 5051 gros chiffres with 'Oran / Algerie' cds of despatch below (Sept. 10, just ten days after the rate change). Belfort cds on reverse (Sept. 15) and handstruck '20' pfennig due marking on front. A splendid and extremely rare cover.
