    1928 (April 15): Non-stop flight Alaska/USA to Spitzbergen/Norway by Hubert Wilkins and Carl B. Eielson - envelope franked with 2 c. carmine tied by violet "Point Barrow Apr. 14 1928 Alaska", showing two line "SVALBARD/RADIO" handstamp alongside, signed and dated "Hubert Hilkins April 21st 1928" and "Carl B. Eielson" on front, on reverse Reg.No: 000052. Touching the most northern point of the Atlantic (Grant Land) 3'500 km over unknown waters, they landed after 29 hrs in Spitzbergen, where the special cachet of the Radio Station was applied. Cert.
