    1866 (May 5): Cover franked by single US 1861/66 24 c. greyish violet tied by segmented cork cancel and carried on Steamer "City of London", with red "Paid / Liverpool / U.S. Packet" (May 16) on front; readdressed on arrival in London (May 16) with GB 1863 1 s. green pl. 4, perfs somewhat trimmed, and forwarded to Vienna. Oval cachet on reverse "Forwarded By / J.S.Morgan & Co./London" struck in green with Vienna arrival (MAy 20) alongside. Despite the minor imperfection, a scarce and most attractive cover.
