    1871: 10 bani blue (Type I) and 1872 15 bani red, fine large margined examples used on 1872 cover to Vienna, neatly tied by "Berlad" datestamp (March 26) in black (Kiriac fig.485).  Further strike of Berlad datestamp at right and framed "PD" on front, reverse with two flaps missing but showing complete Jassy cds (28/3) and Vienna arrival cds (31/3). Interesting Plate Flaw on the 15 bani with cut in outer frame line at upper left and large break in first "I" of "Cincis". An attractive cover (addressed to Ephrussi & Co.-see 'The Hare with Amber Eyes'). Illustrated in Edition d'Or on page 136 and in Handbook II on page 270. Signed Friedl; cert. Heimbüchler (2010).
