    1815 (June 29): Outer letter sheet datelined inside from Roggau (Rodgau), addressed to the Swiss soldier Ulrich von Planta at Nymegen with plentiful manuscript rates on front and back in red and black ink, and rare strike of triangular "Dusseldorff Par Aix La Chapelle" in red (Van Der Linden fig. 1009). Unusual and fine cover. Note: This cover was mailed just ten days after the Battle of Waterloo.
