    1873: The dramatic combination cover with Duloz 1871 Local Post 1 pi. dark brown Postage Due tied by octagonal all-arabic "Büyükdere" cachet in blue-black with "Bachtche Capussi" datestamp on reverse (Oct 2) and oval bilingual "Pera" cancel in blue; passed to Austrian P.O. for forwarding to Loano/Italy and franked by Levant 1867 3 s. green, 5 s. red (two examples) and 10 s. blue all tied by three line dated "Constantinopel" cds's in black, prepyaing the 23 soldi single rate. Reverse with 'Pest' transit cds (18/10) and Loano arrival (21/10). Opens well for Exhibit display, a wonderful and rare cover of great beauty. Signed Pfenninger. Cert. Vachat (2001), Isfila (2002).
