1856: Small piece bearing 10 kop. carmine in a reconstructed horizontal strip of five, pair and strip of three, with large margins all round, creased vertically between first and second, and third and fourth stamps but not touching the design, minute tear in second stamp, all cancelled by manuscript pen crosses and by low boxed "Brahestad" datestamp (18 July 1858) in black and also by 'Ank' marking in black. A rare multiple being the third largest unit known, slight thin spots under each where the strip of excellent colour and appearance. Signed Gummesson and Fabergé. Cert. Gummesson (1992). 1866: 5 p. pale red brown on grey lilac laid paper, couple of pulled roulettes (typical of the later printings), used in first month of UPU rate on 8 p. green on yellow postal stationery card to Björneborg, Sweden cancelled by "Äbo" datestamp (July 27) in blue. An attractive usage: as the 2 p. stamp was not issued until September 1875, the 5 p. was utilised to overpay the 10 p. rate. 1866/67: Small piece bearing exceptional usage of 1 m. yellow brown on white paper, four examples including a vertical pair (positions 40-50, 20-30), tied by neat strikes of "Helsingfors" cds's in blue (5.11.73), one or two blunted roulettes but of fabulous quality and most attractive.
