    Type 1B. 1869: Cover to Meanmeer, Punjab, India franked at 6 d. rate via Southampton with 1867/80 6 d. bright violet pl. 6 tied by 'Reading / 635' duplex (Feb 27). Reverse with fair strike of oval SEA POST OFFICE / D datestamp (March 21) in green applied at Suez and carried on the 'Travancore' via Aden (March 8) arriving Bombay (April 3). Cover with crease away from adhesive but scarce: carried on the first sailing of the 'Travancore' on this route, she was not to ply her trade on Bombay-Aden route again until August 1873.
