    40 parale greenish blue, huge margined single example and large margined horizontal strip of three, the multiple with light horizontal crease probably on application, all used on double rate registered 'Cross Border' cover to Bucharest cancelled by framed FRANCO / FOLTICHENI handstamps in black (Kiriac fig. 307) with FOLTICHENI / MOLDOVA datestamp alongside (28/7) in black (Kiriac fig. 275) and italic RECEPISSE. Reverse flap partly missing but showing two part strikes of BUCAREST / WALACHEI datestamps (8/2) in red (Kiriac fig. 269). An extremely rare franking for the connoisseur of the Classic issues.
