    Oaxaca 8 r. red-lilac, two very fine examples used with 2 r. emerald green and 1 r. yellow together with handstamp '½' (in lieu of a ½ real adhesive) used to pay 19½ reales rate from the Juzgado de Primera Instancia of Tlaxiaco to Oaxaca. The adhesives all cancelled by manuscript pen strokes and by framed TLAXIACO handstamp (Schatzkes fig. 1079) below. Juzgado de Primera Instancia handstamp at left and two further strikes on reverse. Cover with a few imperfections incl. tape stain at upper right and file folds to enable Exhibit display but a remarkable part adhesive, part handstamped franking of great rarity (especially so from a Sub-Office) and visual appeal, in all probability unique.
