    1878/79: Dom Pedro White Beard 200 r. black, a fine horizontal pair used on 1879 cover addressed to Woolworth's in New York, envelope slightly trimmed at left, endorsed 'per Euclid'; the adhesives tied by good strike of scarce oval 'DP' handstamp in black (Dopo La Partenza / Too Late). Reverse with 'New York / Paid All' arrival (Dec 10). Some minor ageing but a scarce double rate usage with this cancellation.
