    Santa Fé de Bogotá-La Plata-Popayan-Quito Route 1782 (Nov 17): Prepaid entire letter from Bogotá to Popayan, distance 123 leagues / 685 kms., struck with very fine SANTA FÈ handstamp in red (Tizon 2 = RR), with contracted FRANCA at right (Tizon 6 = RRR) and manuscript "3" reales alongside for a double letter under ¾ ounce. Rare cover, previously the earliest recorded usage.
