    1 pi. claret used on two matching entire letters from Mansura to Alexandria with March and June 1867 entires each showing single 1 pi. tied by POSTE VICE REALI EGIZIANE / MANSURA cds in black, the June entire with background printing error - seen most visibly in the central vignette - with a heaping of the ink in the claret and less white, at the sides of the stamp there are no horizontal background lines at all. Minor ageing but a rare and interesting pairing. Signed Todd AIEP.
