    1840/60: The collection of entire letters/covers (33) with ALEXANDRIA double arc British P.O. datestamps struck in black, blue and in red; with covers to Malta showing rates of 5 d. (prepaid), 6 d., 1 s., 2 s., 2/6 d. - this last being a five times rate cover; 1852 prepaid cover to Beirut, 1853 cover from Malta to Batavia via Alex, 1854 cover from India to Madeira with red 'Returned For Postage', 1857 cover with 'Briggs & Co.' cachet, 1857 cover with SUEZ double arc to Bombay, incoming covers with various rates, 1876 cover with GB 2½ d. tied 'BO2' at Suez, a fine and most interesting group.
