    1865: 20 pa. red, two fine examples used on front and back of 1865 registered cover from Jassy to Turgul Oknei, each adhesive cancelled by fine strikes of the grill obliterator in black; with exceptional use of "cu R.R." (Kiriac fig. 1579) and very rare "Draperie" datestamp of "JASSY" (16/3) in black (Kiriac fig 330) at left in lieu of the registration handstamp. Blue framed "RECOMANDAT" registration handstamp applied with scarce T. OKNEI / MOLDOVA datestamp (20/3) of arrival (Kiriac fig. 298) each struck in bright blue. A wonderful and extremely rare cover sensibly refolded for Exhibit display. Illustrated in Edition D'Or vol XII on page 110. Certificate Heimbüchler (2009).
