    1869: 10 c. yellow, fine example of good colour but slight peripheral toning, used on 1869 cover to Frankfurt, Germany endorsed "Per Steamer Donau via Bremen", tied by segmented cork cancel in black with "New York / Paid All / Direct" datestamp at right. Framed "Bremen / Franco" (Oct 6) alongside the adhesive, reverse with Frankfurt arrival.
