    1865: Cuza 20 pa. red, two examples with good margins all round, one just touched at base, used on 1866 entire letter to Braila, each tied by grill obliterators in black, with "CALAFATUL" despatch cds (Jan 3) in blue alongside (Kiriac fig. 341). Reverse with Ploesci transit cds and Braila arrival (Jan 10) displaying well on flap in black. Carried on the land route rather than the Danube.
