    1881 (July 1): 2 c. slate-purple on pale lilac, plate I, imperforate, a used horizontal strip of four (positions 26-29), large margins all round, cancelled by "Cap Haitien / Haiti" circular datestamp (21 April 1882) in black. A strip of four is the largest recorded used multiple (another ex Hubbard, lot 183, is defective at right). Rare.
