    1791: Entire letter prepaid from Bayonne to Port au Prince, crossed to show pre-payment via Bordeaux (marked '7' on reverse = 54 sols internal + 2 sols ship fee), struck with "BAYONNE / P. PAYE" in black. On arrival struck with fine "CAP" handstamp of Cap Français in black (Jamet 10) with reverse showing partial "AUST*91" arrival in black. A fine and unusual entire.
