Italian Colonies - Africa Orientale Italiana 1940 (May 24): Registered Airmail envelope from Asmara to Addis Abeba, bearing the extremely rare AOI 1938 20 l. dark green and Posta Aerea 25 l. blue and 3 l. carmine in mixed franking with Eritrea 1931 30 c. olive & lilac in a vertical pair, tied by "ASMARA CENTRO ACCET. RACC. B" despatch cds, registration label alongside. Lightest vertical file fold and with philatelic motivation, nevertheless a rarity of this colony with bthe 20 l. & 25 l. adhesives unkown on cover to Sassone. Signed Sorani, cert.
