    Issued at Old Calabar 1893 (Dec): 'HALF / PENNY' in green on Great Britain 2½ d. purple on blue, an unused se-tenant block of six (3 x 2), the upper strip of three with Gibbons Type 9 handstamped surcharge in green, the lower strip of three with Gibbons Type 8 surcharge in vermilion; of marvellous fresh appearance merest trace of speckles from red blotting paper utilised to store the stamps on large part or unmounted og.
