Recess on White Paper 1867/76: 4 d. orange on white paper, perf. 15, a used vertical pair on 1875 double cover to New York, USA (Maynard correspondence) tied by two strikes of the "A09" obliterator with NEVIS datestamp at left (July 9) in black and red crayon '8' in manuscript. "New York / Due 10 Cts." charge marking of arrival (July 30) alongside. Reverse with 'St. Thomas' transit cds (July 15).
